Call for 2026 BEAP Symposium Subcommittee Members:

Help plan our upcoming Symposium, taking place in March 2026. This is your chance to contribute to an exciting, inclusive, and impactful 2-day event for the city-building community.

We’re looking for individuals who:

• Are passionate about equity and representation in the city-building professions

• Have previous experience with event planning

• Are enthusiastic about collaborating on programming, logistics, and community engagement

• Preferably reside in Winnipeg

• Design experience, an asset

• Access to a vehicle, an asset

Commitment & Meetings:

• Bi-weekly meetings leading up to the BEAP Symposium, in person and virtually

• Email communications, as necessary, with Subcommitee

• Time commitment is approximately 8 hours/month leading up to the BEAP Symposium
