Building Equality in Architecture: Prairies (BEAP) promotes inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility in the city-building professions. Our organization aims to support, celebrate, and connect practitioners, students, and academics at all levels in architecture, landscape architecture, planning, interior design, construction, and engineering across the prairies.
We are currently seeking passionate individuals to join our Executive Committee in a volunteer capacity. As an Executive Committee member, you will help shape our vision and direction, and ensure the organization is fulfilling our mission.
Responsibilities:
Attend monthly Board Meetings.
Sit on one of four Sub-Committees (Fundraising/Sponsorship, Research, Marketing, Event Planning)
Provide guidance and oversight to advance the organization’s mission.
Assist with the planning of annual programming.
Assist with advocacy and other outreach efforts, as needed.
Contribute to Board Development.
In addition to Board Meetings, members are expected to contribute 2-10 hours per month.
Must reside in Manitoba and can attend and support BEAP events.
Hold a valid Manitoba Driver's Licence or equivalent is an asset.
BEAP is seeking professionals in the following professions:
Interior Design
Engineering
Construction
